Your camera setup

Post your camera setup and it's details.

Not the best pic cause taken not by my best camera...

Canon Rebel T1i:
Canon 18/55mm IS lens
Canon 35/80mm lens
Sigma 75/300mm macro/telephoto lens
3 piece mono tube for macro
off brand 72mm wide angle with 52/58mm adapter ring
eye piece extension
eye piece hood
lens hood
wireless remote
Vitar tripod

Obviously not nearly the best setup but I really enjoy this as my starter into DSLR photography. I got >$1200 in equipment and in a year or two plan to jump into a Canon 7D or better. All the lenses I currently have will work on a 7D so I'll need to buy is the camera body and of course better lenses in time.

Nice. Very capable setup. I would try to get in to the hobby but cost is my kill factor. I could get paid almost every local event I go to. Not much, but if I hit them all up, I'd be having one heck of a time.

I got into photography earlier this year. $6000 later, I'm almost wishing I hadn't.

I started in February with a Nikon D3000 and the kit lenses, 18-55 and 55-200. Now I have a Nikon D90, SB400, SB600, those kit lenses, Sigma 10-20 4-5.6, Sigma 17-70 OS 2.8-4, Nikon 50 1.8, Nikon 35 1.8, and a Nikon 70-300 VR. I now use the D3000 for my wide angle lens, and the D90 for whatever other lens type I need. Then I have the misc. filters, tripod, etc.

My brother just bought a Nikon 70-200 2.8, so I've been playing with that a lot too. I need to get me one, but I can't justify the cost right now.

T1i with the kit lenses (28/55 3.5/5.6 IS and 55/250 4/5.6 IS and a 75/300 non IS)
Recently added a 1D Mark II, and a 50 mm f1.8; and hoping to get the Canon 70/200 f2.8 IS USM sometime in February.
I need to build up on some better glass (L lenses) and prime as money becomes available.

my pride and joy is a 35 mm sears ksx super. has a 50mm, 135mm (with 1:7, 1:6, and 1:5 macro range), and an 80-200mm lens. also has a 2x telephoto converter. also a vivitar auto 30D dedicated flash. it's a super fun setup but i'd LOOOVVE to get a digital slr. just not in the budget...in the forseeable future...i'll try and get some pics later...

Happy to report that I was able to get a 70 200 f2.8L IS USM.
It is really a great lense, and all the rave I had heard about it was all true.
I have had it for a week and I am enjoying it.

awesome! I've since added the 50mm f1.8 and a YN560 flash to my kit as well as reverse rings for 52 & 58mm lenses. Really wanting to get a 60mm macro lens soon and step up to the L lenses!

Are u currently living in Chile and where? My family is from La Serena and I hope one day to move to Chile for good. I've been prolly 10 times and lived there for a yr. I love going. Next trip is one yr for two weeks, Feb 2012!!!

I don't live there any more; but due to work I usualy end up going there every year or two. I am cargo Airline crew; I never know when and where I will go until the trip is on; but the good part is that it does not cost me anything.
I am currently based in ANC Alaska for work; but live in Florida.

I like that bag. It is very nice; specially the price.
I have my gear in a Tamrac expedition X 8. It travels with me mostly everywhere, and as crew I realy do not have trouble taking that and my flight bag into a commercial airliner; I have a smaller Lowetro Stealth Reporter bag for run arounds with photo equipment when I am at home.

The 50 mm f1.8 is a nice lense. I got one recently, and lucked out in a Mark I version with metal mount. I will reshuffle my gear after this trip and see if I do not need to bring two cameras with me all the time. I love the 1D MKII for pictures; but also love the video (and picture qualities) of the T1i. Just been able to shoot video if I need it is reason enough to bring both; but my back wants to argue otherwise.

I'm itching for a 7D badly, I love the t1i but I need more FPS when shooting high action stuff like sports. You'll hafta gimme more details on your job. I'd love to travel and load cargo. What kinda stuff is it. I work at FedEx and did 6 yrs in the World hub as a team leader inbound/outbound flts & then a ramp agent for our outbound flts. I miss being around the planes. Lemme know, I'd def be interested in what you gotta say.
