What is your theme song?

When you imagine yourself driving down an empty country road in your favorite vehicle, contemplating your life story, what song do you want playing??

For me, it is Bob Seger's Turn the Page

You have good taste in music, sir.

Mine would probably Subdivisions by Rush. It seems like it was written about my life so far. I have never really fit in with any group of people. The video for it pretty much looks like what my high school (and college up to this point) life would have been if I were about 25 years older and lived in the 'burbs.

I wish Life's Been Good by Joe Walsh was more appropriate. Haha.

I have a few - depends on how I'm feeling...

"Little Crazy" - Fight
"Scum of the Earth" - Rob Zombie
"Margaritaville" - Jimmy Buffett
"Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" - AC/DC
"A Tout le Monde (Set Me Free)" - Megadeth
"Twilight Zone" - Golden Earring
"Piece of Work" - Jimmy Buffett
"Veteran of the Psychic Wars" - Blue Oyster Cult
"We Can Make It" - Boston
"Life is a Highway" - Tom Cochrane
"Trouble" - Quiet Riot
"Mercedes Benz" - Big Brother & the Holding Company
"You're Unbelievable" - KMFDM
"All I Need is a Miracle" - Mike & the Mechanics
"Crazy (Suitable Case for Treatment" - Nazareth
"Fat Bottomed Girls" - Queen (one of the cornerstones of my personal philosophy...)
"Ridin' the Storm Out" - REO Speedwagon
"Last Action Hero" - Tesla
"I Drink Alone" - George Thorogood
"You're the Only Hell Your Mama Ever Raised" - Warrant
"25 Hours a Day" - Y&T
"Planet of Women" - ZZTop

It really depends on how I'm feeling and what stage of my life I'm thinking about at the time - but it's been varied enough that I can't boil it all down into just one song (not even if I write it myself, and it's an hour long.) Whether that's a blessing or a curse even depends on the situation - and, again, how I'm feeling...

"Hustlin"-Rick Ross

Usually any linkin park song off of Meteora or Hybrid Theory. Saliva is a good cruisin band too.

"They say I'm lazy but it takes all my time!"

Yeah - Joe Walsh was weird, which is why he's so fun to listen to! "I Like Big T***s" was another one of his. Joe Walsh was pretty genre-limited in his tunes, but his lyrics were largely comparable to Frank Zappa otherwise.

Thank you. My likes run in many directions - after all, I shouldn't forget Digital Underground, Run-DMC, Bloodrock, Frank Zappa (natch,) Ray Stevens, Roger Miller, Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry, Martina McBride, ...

Almost any country song somehow puts me in my place while driving in the middle of no where, It just fits together, but whenever i hear Tom sawyer by Rush it just puts me back in the passenger seat with my dad when I used to help him work on trucks on the weekends when I was about 10, wearing my coveralls covered from head to toe in grease and grime.

"My Maserati does 185; I lost my license, now I don't drive; I have a limo, ride in the back; I lock the doors in case I'm attacked..."

I Like Big Tits could be my theme song too. Haha. "They give me shivers when they bounce around; Puckered up or draggin' on the ground..."

Joe walsh is pretty much the man. I like a lot of Zappa's stuff too. It would be rather unfortunate if your theme song was "Why Does it Hurt When I Pee?"

I'm trying to figure out where I've heard "tighten up" by the black keys before. Because I never actually knew the song, and I've never heard it on the radio, never even heard of the band. But I've definitely heard the song.

Was it in any recent movies?

It was in the 2011 Subaru Legacy commercial.

They have been in a couple movies, I know Zombieland for one.
