Why only five?

AC/DC
Led Zepplin
Kenny Wayne Shepherd
Jonny Lang
Indigenous

Picking five is tough.
Van Halen (Roth Era), Black Sabbath, Canned Heat, Ted Nugent, Nazareth, Molly Hatchet, Motorhead, Alice Cooper, George Thorogood (on Rounder), and Pink Floyd might all make my top five depending on my attitude.

No Cheap Trick fans? They're never on anybody's top five, but make a lot of top ten lists for some reason.

I listen to Breaks and Drum and Bass with some Hip Hop thrown in. May not constitute as bands but some dj's do band sets.

Pendulum (Tool fans would love these guys)
London Elektricity (Get some)
Step 13 (Full on Live Drum 'n' Bass. Brock and Roll baby!)
SubSource (Full on Live Drum 'n' Bass. Brock and Roll baby! it is the new sound)
The Roots (5 piece band Hip Hop)
