Wow you give them more credit than I would, all of these nu-metal bands makes my head hurt. Will need to play some King Diamond or Vinterland to cancel it all out.

Collective soul is one of the most inspired, diversified, lyrically driven bands out there. I liked their old stuff a bit better than the newer stuff, but there's no way I wouldn't buy anything they released.
If you think there a 'nu-metal' band, you have no idea who they are.
I don't see many metal bands incorporating violins and cellos...except metallica on the S&M album, but as you can see...they made my list too

My bad Land Rover, for some reason I thought he was talking about woody liking slipknot. I don't know why I didn't see it, the first thing he says is "collective soul"; I am just crazy I guess. Your right, I have never listened to Collective Soul so I wouldn't know. I'll blame it on having a long day at work.

You didn't miss anything, they were one hit wonders in a time that music was really at rock bottom IMO... The 90's grunge days..

A more misguided statement has never graced the pages of jeepforum.com

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion except you. You are banned from having an opinion. Sorry. You brought this on yourself.

Edit: which of their 12-15 hits are you considering their one hit?

Did I say IMO? I meant so I've heard...

Which part didn't you like, the one hit wonders?
Or the Grunge 90's?

Both are so far off it's hard to address either.

Sorry, with the exception of Mother Love Bone, I hated grunge...

So much so, that Collective Soul hit song was a breath of fresh air, at least they know how to play their instruments...

There you go with the singular 'hit' again.
