Nobody listed Gangstarr yet. Guru and DJ Premier. They put out some classics in the 90's. das racist is super sick if you're into stoner rap. Also both members have solo stuff(Heems and Kool AD). All Nas is sick, early Jay-Z plus the black album and American gangster, immortal technique if you want some cerebral underground stuff. I've been really into some guys outta Brooklyn that go by the name Flatbush Zombies recently. Action Bronson is amazing; fat, white, and killer flow. His voice sounds almost identical to ghostface killa. Anything southern is tight, if for no other reason than the beats. Early outkast is super good too(aquemini, ATLiens, southernplayalisticcadillacmuzik, stankonia).

This whole list is great except for Mac, Tyga and Sam Adams. Well, Tyga is OKAY for club music.

Sam Adams isn't up and coming, He fell off a long time ago.

Wow, looking back at this list I dunno what the **** I was thinking with some of these. Can't believe I put down lil wayne, must have been drunk.

Rick ross I like for his music (mainly who he gets for his beats) and the people that surround him, he's gotta good team going and MMG is taking over the rap game and Wale being on his label has turned his music around. Wale has yet to forget where he came from, my home county.

Eazy E, obvious, Biggie, obvious. Adding some more, Mobb Deep, Dead Prez, Tech n9ne. Some others I can't remember. T.I's new album is pretty good.

NAPPY ROOTS!!!

Dr. Dre's The Chronic and Chronic 2001

Em's first album ever, "Infinite" is a personal favorite

I would highly suggest going through "Nappy Roots" Pandora station. Tons of classic rap. I can listen to that station for hours without having to skip.

Rap is going downhill fast. Some of the stuff I hear on the radio really just boggles my mind.

Mac Miller makes my ears bleed, Webby however... Have all his mixtapes.

And of course a little D. Lector, Zach. Does a good bit of stuff and plays shows with Webby.

Eh I don't know much about Sam, but I like a few of his songs. I don't care for Mac's stuff now but I do still like Best Day Ever and Loud.

I still like Tyga. However, I generally switch between Childish and Kid Ink radios on Pandora.

It came on as we were loading up the car to head to Athens to see our school play UGA and one of my buddies goes "GUYS WE CAN'T LEAVE YET!" He cracked a beer and turned it all the way up and we listened to the whole song out in front of the house before he let my friend that was driving leave. This happened at 6:30 am It turned out to be a VERY good day
