The were originally on Bands on the run on VH1 back in the late 90's or so. I can't link from my phone but will throw a few up here later.

The original drummer is drummer for Smile Empty Soul

Trampled by turtles and my politic are some good folk bands that don't get played on the radio.

The story so far is good. Pop-punk band. I've been to a few of their shows. Wonder years are good too, same genre.

Childish Gambino for rap.

Check out "Life On Repeat" on equal vision records. They should have blownup, but have a great sound blend for those that like rock/metal breakdowns/double bass patterns/great singing with harmonies!

*Work Warning for some lyrics, not bad but a few f bombs here and there is some songs if your coworkers are extra sensitive*

Another name I always have to throw out is my friend from high school Clayton Severson

And the band I want to see make a HUGE comeback Coheed and Cambria
