Project Sted-Fast

A great local band but unfortunately they broke up and this video is one of the only places to hear the song. The video was made for a local "stunt team." While I think the stunts are cool I think doing them on a public highway is pretty damn stupid.

I have posted Hermano. Here is another band named Kyuss with the same lead vocalist, John Garcia. Kyuss is the band that supposedly started the "generator parties" in California back in the late 80s. Not really an obscure band but not that well known.

Kyuss also included Josh Homme who later became front man for Queens of the Stone Age. They got the name from a Kyuss album.

After the Kyuss breakup, John Garcia joined Slo Burn, another band I like.

After the breakup of Slo Burn, John Garcia later formed Unida, still a really good band.

After Slo Burn's breakup, Garcia joined Hermano.

I am too lazy to read the thread, but "Jupiter One" is a great band. I doubt they have been mentioned though. Their first album (self titled) is better than the second one.

YouTube - William Elliott Whitmore - Dry

William Elliott Whitmore - Soooo Good.

YouTube - Emily Wells "Passenger" Live

Emily Wells - I was in the crowd for ^ this. Mind blowing. She loops all of her sounds together is really amazing.

Bonobo - He does some very cool heavily jazz and funk influenced stuff.

Mindless Self Indulgence (mentioned before, but the songs posted weren't their greatest IMO).
