Most emotional song you ever heard?

Im looking for those songs that, when you heard it one a day you were feeling down, or any day really, you just couldnt help but shed some tears.
could be about the death of someone, a break up, losing the love for someone, anything.

now, every genrea has these types of songs, and are not hard to find. EXCEPT hip hop. its pretty hard to fidn a good hip hop song that gets you emotional, so thats MOSTLY, what im looking for.

one i heard today. i understand many of you may hate hip hop, mostly because of what you have heard on the radio, but this isnt that. this is real music right here, give it a try. read along with the lyrics.
edit: didnt embed and my computers too damn slow to get the link. but go on youtube and search vinnie paz razorblade salvation

theres another i posted in the confessions thread in GD. its called yesterday by atmosphere.

That's a tough one... I like Peter Cetera & Cher "after all"... High school sweetheart song. Harry Chapin "cats in the cradle" - reminds me of my Dad when he was alive, he loved Chapin.

"American Pie" by Don McLean and "Tears in Heaven" which is a tribute to Conor Clapton, Eric's pre-school son, who died in an accident in 1991.

That could be taken two ways maybe.

Do you want just plain emotional songs or Hip Hop ones ?

either.
but since hip hop ones are more rare, i lean more towards them.
but any genre is fine.

cats in the cradle makes me tear up everytime.
my dads still around but when i was young he never had time for me. always too busy working to spend time with me and teach me things, so thats a pretty tough song for me to listen to.

I don't know if you listen to Eyedea, but he has some really emotional hip-hop songs.

Namely these two: Smile and Even Shadows have Shadows.

I suggest checking 'em out!

Emotion is a very broad definition, i could post 90% or my music library as songs with strong emotion.

Even metal has emotion, its much harder to find, its much more brutally worded, but its there. This song was written by the bands guitarist as a love song for his wife.
