I think those old railroad hand carts would have been a halfway decent ride too and bicycles .

You can go farther on a bike in a day than on a horse.

Depends on the horse, bike and terrain though. Though hand carts would be very handy. Plus with those slaves you could go for endless hours of motion.

"Depends on the horse, bike and terrain though" I did think about that but was lazy and didn't bother mentioning it but I did not think about the slaves and hand carts.

You could set up stations along the track for fresh slaves/men/soldiers like the Pony Expess did with horses and go very far fast 24 hours a day .

It kinda lagged a bit in the middle, but the most recent episodes really moved things along quite nicely. I like where they've gone with the development of the characters.

"You're out of your mind."
"That's between me and my mind."

I haven't watched the show, it seems like the basic idea is that electricity somehow has just stopped working, but this apparently doesn't include anything obvious like the human body's electrical system?

You know what this reminds me of? The 80s cartoon Visionairies, that was the same idea, technology just stops and everyone has to resort to magic.

Here you go,
I'm guessing it's a lot like that right now

Due to lack of interest, tomorrow has been canceled

Basically a group of scientists tried to create a small sustainable energy source for man made items. Reasons unknown, their project goes south and all the power goes out.

Video didn't load but I'm sure it's like it. Lol. Tv just recycles ideas.

it did bother me some, in the last show, where the fired up the helicopters and other things that had been sitting idle for 15 years or so and they started right up.

The batteries would have been long gone by then and yes they could have started them with electricity but it goes way beyond just that.

Is the gasoline or diesel still good and how about the antifreeze, oil and so such ?

Have they just been maintaining them just waiting for a jump start ?

I can do much better here than the writers and that is not my job.

The Russians have planes that have sat for a couple years and they start em right up and fly them around
But 10 plus years i think its highly unlikely

It's tv. Only people who know anything about mechanics would care. As far as half the viewers go, I wouldn't be surprised if they thought helicopters were all electric.

Edit: Plus changing oil doesn't make for good prime time tv. It's probably to be assumed that its been taken care of.

Yeah. It kinda picked up. I thought the whole "this could burn the entire planet" story line was out there and unnecessary. Too dramatic.

Watching the new episode. Not really sure what to think right now. The scene after the bar is okay though.

Edit: This is horse****.

Edit 2: Still horse**** but it's acceptable I guess.

So the second half of the season has turned out to be better than expected and much better than the first half IMO. Havent watched the newest episode yet though.

I'm still enjoying it, despite how far fetched it might be getting.

Man, I have a bunch of episodes to catch up on. I moved and left my DVD at my mom's house though. Wonder if I can get it on NBC/Netflix?
