Wife says get the jeep

I realize you here this a lot but I'm recently retired from the military and the wife gave me the green light to buy my first wrangler. S he wants the four door but I've never owned a wrangler so I'm needing advice for which model. I won't be rock crawling, basically use it for fly fishing in our national forest and for hunting. I do have a small trailer to pull our kayaks with it. Any help appreciated. I would like to know what the tow package entails on the wrangler. Thanks in advance

how much $ you looking to spend as wranglers hold value fairly well. New used?

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking for new for the reason you listed. I've never owned a wrangler and am looking for the 4 door

i suggest the sport s model. can be nicely equipped and still be modded if you choose to and will not break the bank. i would suggest 3.73 gearing.

wvtrout15,

Excellent choice! The Trailer Tow Group/Max Tow Package includes a 3.73 rear axle ratio, a class II hitch receiver and trailer tow with 4-pin connector wiring.

I would agree with the sport if you blow your money on a Rubicon or Sahara your not gaining your money's worth it cost less to buy it all aftermarket then equipped from the factory

My wife gets jealous of mine. Calls her my mistress. Says i love it more than her. I told her it would be an expensive hobby before i got it but she knew how much i always wanted one.

Ditto. She hates it. I told her it was here before her and .... Well the rest is implied.
