where are you deployed guys at?
looking to see who else is deployed during the holidays.
today is christmas for me, right now its 2025.
im on barracks duty and im stuck trying to manage drunk marines.
where are you this holiday season?

Im not in the armed forces... But would like to take the time to say thank you for your service. Theres a lot of sacrifices that you guys make that no one sees. That being said Merry Christmas to you and thank you so much for what you do! Where are you stationed out of?

i am stationed out of 29 palms california. it is in southern california, a bit north of palm springs.
i am currently deployed to japan, i come home in 3 weeks.

Just spent New Years in FOB Sharana Afghanistan. It's cold here as well, and no snow yet.

Just got back from Al Dhafra AB in the UAE. Got there in September and left mid January. Standard 120 day tour. Christmas and Turkey Day sucked. JMHO.

Yeah? Ever been to Al Dhafra and play the games they play in the Security Forces Squadron? If you had, there is no way you'd call it a cakewalk. It's not like we are rolling off the base every night or even once per month just to make a road trip to Abu Dhabi or Dubai to the clubs, which are forbidden to military personnel.
