Question USMC Camp Pendleton Off Road club

Does anyone know if a 4 wheelin' club still exists on base anywhere? We started one called "The Pendleton Busheaters" back in 1984. I left there in 1985 and was wondering if the club was still around. We had vehicles of all breeds but they all hit the trails, it wasn't a show club. Every month a new person would organize a trail ride somewhere in So. Cal.

given the new corps, they would probaly require TSRs, RSO, OIC, safety corpsman, and clearance through long rifle to do anything... i doubt it is still around.

sorry.

Well it wasn't associated with the Corps, other than the members were all Marines and were stationed there, so no red tape. I'm waiting for an email reply from a guy in the Terra-del-Sol club out of Diego that said he had some insight.

Nope - that's prohibited by the UCMJ.

We didn't mind, it was anybody stationed there. But it had no ties to the base or the Corps, we were simply like minded Marines wanting to explore Southern California.
