I had a funny run in with you guys down in the Gulf a couple years ago. It was late at night maybe early morning and you guys didn't have the same AIS codes as we did so I guess you couldn't see us. Our CPA was like 0.1 which is cool for us black hull sailors but I know there was some butt pucker on your bridge watch. Anyways your bridge watch obviously didn't know we were a CG vessel because you were darkened ship and turned course right at us as if the intent was to maybe start a boarding. I turned off our coded AIS and immediately all your nav lights came on and you guys called us demanding we alter course. I informed the little girl on the other end we were the stand on vessel and for you to change course.

I guess you have to be there but we all had a good laugh on the bridge.

Sounds about right. If it was less then one mile people were close to freaking out up on the bridge. I was one of the OODs on there and there were a few people I could imagine doing that as an OOD up there on watch.

All I know is your profile says Pensacola and you're missing out on lots of great gulf coast trails because you haven't checked out Gulf Coast Jeep Club yet! Club was even started by a Coastie!

Where do you want to go and what type of wheeling? West Coast of Michigan has a LOT of trails both unmanned roads and some nice parks. plus a lot of your companies are out in that area.

Been to hart michigan several times, the dunes there are great. Just into good trailriding and exploring, too much invested in the jeep to plow through a mud hole anymore.

I had some damn good trails up there. a couple quick 20-30min trails and then miles upon miles worth of trails up there. I am debating on whether I want to go back up there or not. Maybe try and grab SFO in the area.

I was in Muskegon. So right around the corner from Hart
