Lightbulb U.S. Army Jeep Club

All,
I did a search in the Forum and saw a USN Jeep Club. Another search revealed a USAF and a USMC Jeep club. So, of course I did a Army Jeep club search, and I found an attempt at creating an Army Jeep club. It seemed to be fraught with arguing and no concrete steps were ever taken to finalize the club (typical of Army bureaucracy). Anyway, some of the arguing seemed to be over the word Army; do you have to be in the Army, do you have to own an Army Jeep, do we have to use numbers...and so on. So I asked myself if the other sister service Jeep clubs would have had the same issue, and safely assumend they hadn't. So, if anyone is interested, here it is: You don't have to own an Army Jeep but you have to either be in the Army, or be retired from the Army, and you have to be the proud owner of a Jeep...and proud to be in the United States Army, which I am, after almost 16 years active duty, and too many deployments.

So, in closing, here is the second (and only attempt I'll make) to start the no dues, no fees, United States Army Jeep Club.

Well, you wouldn't be, because I'm not a leg.

Oh, and if you don't want to be a part of this, don't bother answering.

Does your MOS carry the "P", "V", "T" or any of the "W" series SQIs?

the "P" is for Parachutist. Means you've been to Airborne school and have earned your Basic Parachutist badge. There is a "K" for Air Assault badge, although I think it changed to something else in the not too distant past.

If your orders take you to the 82nd or to the Regiment, you'll get TDY in route to Jump School.
