I'm at Lemoore, and have been for the past ten years.... (Damn, am I really that old??!!) I work at FRC Airframes. I drive the Black Rubicon with the cut up fenders and green top. We should get together and run some local trails. -Josh

Yep, it sure is. I switch back and forth from the green hard top to a khaki soft top. I finally got a pair of door panels, so it actually feels like I'm driving a real vehicle, not a clapped together pile of crap! What command are you at?

Hey bud I'm about 10 min off base in riverdale, I've been looking for some other wranglers to wheel with. Most of the people I've tried talking to about wheeling in Hanford (where I work) look at me like im crazy. Any of you guys also ride quads or dirt bikes?

I wish, I can't do dirt bikes anymore due to my back surgery, but I still 'wheel! I NEED a mountain trip soon. We need to get hot on it before the mountains are slammed with snow.

Ok, awesome. Both of you guys hit me up on Facebook, my name is Josh Beiter (so you can find me on there) For some reason I'm not getting notifications when this thread is updated. My Jeep is down for a week or so, I'm installing a new cage. I hope to have it done this weekend, But I am for sure down to hit some trails. Bald Mountain is a fun run, good to bring the wife and kids too.

I'm down for a mountain trip, it will be my first one. I just have to take it easy on the YJ I'm driving right now since my other still isn't running, prepping it for a 5.0 swap!

Bald mountain is a great first trail. There are some intimidating spots, but you'll have no problem making it to the lookout tower.... As long as there's not snow. It is fun in the snow, but getting to the tower is a huge task even with lockers.

I'll FB you my 'wheeling plans.

Anyone in the area have a Cherokee pitman arm they are willing to part with? Don't really have time to go the the JY right now, just need that, track bar drop brackets, and shocks and I can put the lift from my 91 onto my 92. Looks like I won't be able to get the weekend off to go up to bald mountain. Working retail this time of year really limits the time off even when you write the schedule.

I can feel ya there man. I plan on heading up Saturday, I'm not sure if Brewer lake trail is still open or not, maybe do some fishing, and hit both Brewer and Bald. One time for sure we'll have to meet up.
