I have several thousand pics from my back to back tours (06-07 & 07-08), sometimes I'll start to go through them but I don't make it all the way through. It just gets to be too much sometimes. I worked hard to get **** out of my mind back in 08, but when I go through the pics, it feels like I'm right back there again.

I will however, look through at some point in the near future and put some pics up. It is important that we all share our story.

Same here, I go back from time to time and look through my pics. It's hard but we never will or need to forget. Alot of great people have paid the price for us to be able to have our freedom and Like what has been posted that it never was all about the oil, I know we helped alot of people have a taste of freedom from a POS like Sadaam. There are so many pictures that I would never post on here for anyone to ever have to see, But the ones that have been there know. Just trying to post a few clean ones that show that it was about helping the Iraqis that wanted us there to help.

Thank you for your service, my dad spent 21 years in the navy and I got to spend a lot of time on base and I will say it takes a lot to do the job, being away from family and friends, home and the comfort of living we have. so again thank you, it's because of people like you that make the life we have possible.

I'm have to ask, can I save this pic... I want it as my background picture. It is amazing with the light, and shadows, just amazing...

Ilove this picture. I just got done reading all 23 pages and there are a lot of great pictures. Thanks everybody for serving our country. I got goosebumps many times reading about peoples losses. I am planning on going into the marines as an officer in two years when i finish college hoping for force recon or ground intelligence officer but we will see how the pen drops.

It's hard to believe I was only six years old when the war started and 12 when this post began. Thank you all for your service. You are not forgotten.

Maybe. We didn't bring our Strykers home. They were handed off to the unit that replaced us.
