3fifty, you were on the Bataan the whole time? What year was this? I just turned a few wrenches on that aircraft a few days ago.

Awesome pictures. A rare glimpse into a part of the world many will never see or understand. I really like the helicopter pics. Someone asked early in this thread if you had seen any jeeps. Didn't want to post a pic on your thread, but all great threads need at least one jeep pic. Here's a pic of a jeep we acquired in Mogidishu, Somalia. We had a blast with it...

Not the entire time. Back in '02.
Thanks for your service.

Please remember the brave men and women that can not spend the holidays with their families so that we can.

Hopefully with the "end of the Iraq War" this month there will be no more new pictures from Iraq for a long time.

Today marks 10 years since I lost a Marine in Iraq so I thought it appropriate to bump this up.
He was firing a Iraqi RPG and it exploded killing him and two others. He was a great guy and a perfect Marine.

I understand. Only reason I know of that particular one is because I was friends with parents of the first Colorado Marine KIA in Iraq, LCpl Tommy Slocum. She (mom) had a good amount of info she was able to share about their getting jammed up having to rescue that Army twit, and the vehicle pics looked too similar. Thanks again - Jim
