Thank you for taking the time to look through them and comment on them. They definately brought back alot of memories. I hope that they will help some of you to better understand that we are not there to take over. I hope that some of you will understand that this is about more then just oil.

If you feel differently that is fine but please support our troops at the end of the day.

Thanks again for looking.
Dude, it's been 5 years since I came home. These pictures certainly brought a lot of memories back!

I appreciate you taking the time to share them with us, and, from one Marine to another, thank you and Semper Fi.

Great pictures, they show so many different sides of that place. All mine are explosions and aftermath of fire fights.

Today marks 8 years since I lost a Marine in Iraq so I thought it appropriate to bump this up.
He was firing a Iraqi RPG and it exploded killing him and two others. He was a great guy and a perfect Marine.

So many have made the ultimate sacrifice for things we take for granted on a daily basis.

I remember providing port side security for that meu as it passed through. I was stationed in Rota, Spain at the time. We then met up with you guys down in Liberia. Small world.

Correction: I think we had the 31st down there to back us up inside the Embassy.
