Go surface! I had way more fun out there than I do now that I'm an airdale.

I spent the longest coldest Winter of my long life at Grand Forks AFB where I remember it getting down to -54. That was also the same Winter some poor E-2 drove his snow plow over the the base commander's car when it was buried in a snow drift.

I will also say that North Dakota has some of the greatest people living there, the many I met there were all awesome human beings that will go out of their way to help you.

Yeah thatd be Grand Forks alright. The coldest winter I saw there was -62 which makes no difference at all when its that cold. On the plus side HWY 2 which runs clear from Grand Forks to Minot and is straight and clearly visible made for some awesome high speed runs in my 04 Cobra. We used the MP's GPS and hit 185mph down that hwy...gotta love having friends in the military

As for the base commanders car honestly whatre you gonna do lmao its ND in the winter aka all year round. I saw snow in Aug and 2 ft snow drifts in Sept the first year I was there
