My buddy was killed in Afghanistan so it may take some time as I dont really know this guy other and he's currently deployed somewhere.

Marsoc cannot be contract. A&s is tough , itc is tougher. Although its a great community. Go for it. Do a pump with grunts first.

I went through boot in 2007 and was issued blues no matter what. Maybe they changed some things?
Sounds like you have the new recruiter at the RS...Either way, getting more recruits can't really hurt ya, but I wouldn't stress doing stuff for your recruiter if he's bs'ing you. Just so ya know, you might have a certain recruiter assigned to you, but theres nothing stopping you from talking to others. Don't backdoor the guy, but others might have some insight that he doesnt. My recruiter wasn't infantry so when I had questions about it I asked one of the others who was an '11..

Just ran my first IST. Mile and a half in 9:28, 11 pull ups, weak I know, and 86 sit ups. I really need to run more. Now we are working on tattoo waivers.
