Very cool. I got back from MEPS and I got got an H3 for hearing so my recruiter put in the paperwork for the medical waive. Ill definitely post on here when I get an update. My recruiter was making it sound so easy to get the waiver but Im not so sure with the economy as it it right now. If I do get the waiver approved would this shorten my career in the Army? Or ounce your in your in?

Once you get that waiver, you're in. Good luck man, the Guard will treat ya good if you can just go with it. Basic sucks a little, at least when I went, but its supposed to!

Congrats man! I recently went through MEPS in Denver, and took my oath. I am now a newly enlisted 12M with the Wyoming National Guard. I have my first RSP this weekend, and ship to Ft. Leonard Wood in Sept. for basic.

Again, congratulations!

I went to Ft. Lost-in-the-woods for basic and AIT back in '99 to be a 12B (Combat Engineer). Not sure how things are now days but i didn't mind basic... call me crazy but I would go back in a heart beat. When I joined the Air National Guard, I wanted to go through Air Force basic to see the differences, they wouldn't let me. I would have probably butt stroked someone in the head with my 243B for crying. LOL
