I work in training for new equipment. There is a big push to do more computer based training / gaming. Simulators have been around for a while, and seem to have been accepted for the most part. My question is do any of you think computer based gaming/training where you and your squad of team sit down in front of a computer or computers and "play" through scenarios has any more value than just sitting and talking through them?
I am more old school and like the low tech hip pocket training but there is push for more virtual training, what do those of you in the field think?
