Edit: What does everyone think about the new proposed uniforms???
I personally like everything about them except the stupid hat!!

AF Jeep Club

Ok, Ok - put us on the list. I am an air force brat married to an active duty air force brat! I have a medical disqual so didn't make it in but did the next best thing and married active duty. My husband is TDY right now or he would be typing this. Been stationed at McGuire AFB, New Jersey for 8 years. Sucks for my husband - first and only base out of Tech School. Been married 7 years and we have a couple of things . . . 2 kids, 2 dogs and 2 Jeeps. What more could we ask for? He's from Travis AFB area and I am from Eglin AFB area.

My husband has been to Ellsworth several times and says there is nothing to do! McGuire might be the armpit of the air force but seems better than S.Dakota. Feel for ya!

I didn't realize that - maybe he was just complaining b/c he was stranded with nothing to do. I'd love to visit the black hills - but don't think I want to live there.

it is hard to find things to do being that Rapid City's pop. is only about 60,000 and once you get outside of Rapid City its a whole lot a nothin. Not like PA where theres towns and villages all over the place, but once you do find things out here that you like to do its not that bad. I'll agree with ya on the dont wanna live here part, but this is my home for at least the next few years.

I am the other poor soul that digin taters was referring to. Yes OSAN for the most part sucks. But it has its good points also and i dont drink so that is not one of them as so many airman tend to do here. I go off base and do alot of outdoor rec activities. How many people can say they white water rafted in Korea. Look at my sig for my website and see all the things i have done here in the military. It aint all bad. Woo hoo Air Force Club memeber 12!!!
