This event went off like all the others. AWESOME! We collected a little under $800 with $81 dollars from NOVA Jeepers, and $125 from the Poison Spyder Donation raffle. This weekend turned out to be one of our best event responses this summer and there were fewer than 100 total vehicles.
4 Wheel to Heal attended a Truckin 4 Troops bonfire. This bonfire was the first meeting between the Executive Director and Chairman of Pets 2 Vets, David Sharpe and Nathan Ramos of 4W2H. A lot of info was gained from this visit.

Christmas Tree Set up at Bethesda with Operation Ward 57 December 3rd, 2011
4 Wheel to Heal helped Laura Boone a volunteer from Operation Ward 57 set up a Christmas Tree and decorations in the family room at the Ward in Bethesda. Afterwards we were introduced to Derek McConnell a Wounded Warrior who was recovering. We sat and chatted with him on what we are about. We also gave him a shirt and sticker and took a picture with him. We also had the opportunity to meet his Mother and Fiancé.
4 Wheel to Heal helped out with the Holiday Cheer Party at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center provided by Operation Ward 57. Our help consisted of unloading and setting up food for the Wounded Warriors. We handed out and delivered gift bags to each room and served food to the Warriors and Staff. The event went very well and gave us some great exposure. We also had the opportunity of meeting Lukes Wings a Non-Profit Organization that provides free flights for Wounded Warriors and their families.
4 Wheel to Heal partnered with Truckin 4 Troops, and Operation Ward 57 for Monster Jam. Operation Ward 57 provided tickets and Truckin 4 Troops provided transportation to the event. A double amputee, Wounded Veteran as well a Cancer Survivor were able to attend the event. This helped raise moral and introduce more people to 4 Wheel to Heal.
Media Campaign for our Website Launch February 1st 2012
On February 1st 2012 we started our media campaign for our up and coming website launch. We created an Event Invitation on FaceBook as well as sent emails to all our contacts. This was to create a stir about the Website. Here was one of the event invitations we went and handed out to local businesses.
On February 15th 2012 we launched the Website for 4 Wheel to heal. We elected to have 2 web-addresses for our website. www.4wheeltoheal.org and www.4w2h.org will take you to the website. The website allows us to offer our merchandise as well as take donations. On the day of launch we had an overwelming response. Our FaceBook following jumped from 460 "LIKEs" to 700! We took in $500 dollars in combined merchandise and donations in the first few hours of the website launch! It was an amazing response!
Here are some of the merchandise purchases being mailed out!
