Worn drivers seat at 27k?!

Ive noticed that my drivers seat is showing some pretty major wear. Is anyone else expirencing this? Know of anything that Jeep may do for this?

I would check with your dealership. I have had this problem on a couple of Ford vehicles and the new covers includling installation was covered under warranty of the 36/36000 bumper to bumper warranty.

Oh I was just kidding about the weight gents!

I'm only 165 and I went through 2 seat covers on my 2000 Wrangler in the first 40,000 miles, they seemed to split up the side but not on the seam.

I have less than 3000 miles on my Jeep and it is showing an odd crease on the side of the drivers seat. I have a feeling that it will be cracked shortly. I have already noted it to the dealer and they said once it cracks bring it in for replacement. Loved the sound of that. Good service manager I hope.

I have that same odd crease on my drivers seat. Only had my 2012 KK since Oct, with 527 miles.

Odd crease....your kidding me here.....Right?
You slide into/onto the seat cushion and it compresses the vinyl side panel....something has to give and fold. It is nothing more than a wrinkle, and yes should it split or wear out it is a warranty covered item.

The biggest problem with the seats is the fabric comes apart. Almost looks like someone takes a wire brush to it. Jeep has been replacing seat fabric at a couple dealers if you search the forums. Just very cheap material. I had a 79 cutlass with over 200,000 miles and then built it for the strip and seats still looked better than my jeep with 47,000. Sad.

All of my last 5 cars/trucks have had leather... none of them displayed any creases, cracks, or whatever. I'm only 160 pounds by the way. I'm not complaining, just saying... quality control issue definitely!
