I've not done the full HID swap yet either, but I did order a set of PIAA Ultra White bulbs for my KK. It's a HUGE difference over the SilverStars (which I am a fan of). And a MAJOR upgrade to the factory bulbs that were in there.

If you had a choice for replacement bulbs for head lights and driving lights; Sylvania, Piaa or Hella which would you all choose?

What all is involved with say installing the silverstars? I know you say they are plug and play, but what is the install like? Does much need to be removed to get to them and etc... havn't ever really looked at the headlight assembly and whatnot, thanks for info

^All you do is pop the hood and grab the old one out. There is something special you have to do to remove the bulb after you twist them out. I think its a tab that needs to be pulled, but I cant remember. Someone on here should know exactly.

Don't just drop HID bulbs into stock housings. Your light output actually diminishes. A brighter bulb does not equal more light. Our stock halogen housings are build to refract light from a halogen bulb. HID's don't defuse the same and the light just flies all over the road & on to on coming drivers. Retro fit a projector if you want to use HID's. Otherwise, go w/ the silverstars.
