What service should be done at 70,000?

I just picked up my 2008 Jeep Liberty a few months ago. When I took it to the dealership today to get my fuel tank burping issue resolved they also asked me about other services I might need with it having 70,000 miles on it.

4 wheel service for axles?
Transfer case fluid change?
Transmission fluid and filter change?
Tune up with fuel injector service?

All VERY costly to get done at the dealership.

My question is, is there anything on this list that I can check myself to see if needs done? Buying my jeep used I really have no clue what had been done before and the dealer I bought it from had little history on service before it was traded in.

I do want to make sure I get what needs done to avoid costly repairs down the road.

Thanks

What did they charge for the burping, or is it covered under something. I noticed yours is an 08 with 70K, I bought mine recently as an 08 with 93K. If there is a warranty covering this, I would love to know.

Well changing the fluids is a good start, you could also change the plugs and filters. Moreover examine the suspension. I am hoping to make 80k on my tires, shocks and springs, will also check out tie rod ends and brakes. Lastly, check out the serpentine belt and coolant.

Thanks Dave, I've never read that section.

Is it this one on the fuel burp's? I am so sick of my clean KK getting a gas shower!!!

Hard To Fill With Fuel Or Fuel Nozzle Shuts Off Repeatedly
Fuel Burp Link

Last question on this, how do you know if the repair is a lifetime and not warranty? I am going to run through all these today and see what I can get

The fuel burp covers all 2008 Jeep Liberty's. (also covers all 2007 & 2008 Nitro's)
SB# 14-003-13
(Fuel spit back during refueling due to inlet check valve) X46 lifetime warranty extension.

Just call the dealership with your VIN# and this SB number. That's what I did.
