I will hit 50K tomorrow on the clock and running strong. All the brakes and rotors were changed just recently at 48K and now are squeaking a bit from the rear. Anyways this weekend I had to do a Lowes Stop ended hauling home 6 bags of 64qt Top Soil, 2 trays of plants, my GF and her mom. Jeep drove much smoother with a very minor difference in acceleration, but handled the load really well.

When you get knee-deep in a situation, floor it.

I just hit 48K. You should be on your way to the dealer to get the transmission fluid changed at 50K.

yes.. i done it many times in all my cars. the best of all is that is has better light transition and the reflective part works. with the spray on taillight tint it doesn't plus is king of mate finish.
if you get tires just peel it off, in some states all you need to do is leave the reflective part with out tint, in the kk case the lower 2" part of the tail light

Took it wheeling for the first time! :JEEPIN: gave me a reason to pull off my air dam!
I'm still bone stock but it was at home mud even with stock tires I was very pleased with its performance

I did however get high centered through a large mud hole and didn't have enough umph to get out of it alone(will have pictures of the hole when another girl posts them on facebook)
Hung my head and let an old CJ pull my butt out.

Something I have realized though is.... even though you may not see ANYONE on the trails while your goofing off. the second you get stuck they somehow all find you XD

I lift and new tires are in my future for sure. all and all very fun productive day!

I had the trans fluid flushed and changed at 20K. The reason being I had an oil leak at the rear crank seal and when the pulled the engine from the trans there was bunch of beach sand, so I had them change it.

Did you apply the dip with the spray can? If so, how many did you need? Also, did you apply with all the parts directly on the vehicle?

Spray can. I did about 3/4 can per wheel. Wheels off the vehicle. You dont have to mask the tires, the Dip will pull off the tires, leaving just the wheel.

On the badges, Bezel and bars, 1 can goes a long way.- Dip'd right on the vehicle. Mask off a square box around the badge or bezel. Spray everything evenly and wait 15-20 min. then gently peel Dip off paint. It will seperate cleanly from the badge (or whatever raised surface you are spraying.)

Tip: Clean everything with break cleaner first (Note: This will take the Blue Pad Print off of the Lat Badge) It's gonna stay black anyway.

I was apprehensive the first time I tried it, Now I'm dipping everything.

Good Luck

Ben,

It was through a Group Buy here spearheaded by forum friend "MusclesMarinara"

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f292/...-trim-1420698/

Unfortunately, the Group Buy was a while ago and they are not available for purchase through U.S. dealers.

Have any friends in Canada? Good Luck in your search

Cool. I may still have the boxes with the P/N's. I'll look tonight. If I do I'll shoot you a PM.
