Don't ask her. Just do it.

And if she complains, tell her to go make you a sandwich. Hah!

The 05 may not have TPMS and that's going to throw a trouble light on the dash. Also, it may be tight fitting the 20s off the Jet on the old body style. When I bought mine, I wanted the wheels/tires off a KJ they had on the lot. They wouldn't do it because of the TPMS & they were worried that there wasn't enough wheel well clearance for the 20s. I ended up getting 18s off a Limited & then swapping them for some 16s from a Sport.

The iron is the tires have TPMS but her lib isn't equipped so those aren't original tires on her libby. I'll have to consider wheel rub though. Where's my sandwich!? She will like the street style and the greater stability while I get to have fun!

AtTheHelm, has your temperature gauge showed any different readings since you've had this new bumper on?

Negative. I leave a nice space between the radiator/psc skid and the bumper front face. Basically the same design as my old one which was on for a year.

Chrome may not get you home, but sometimes it looks nice.
I installed the steps today. For giggles, and to appease my father-in-law, I installed the steps to see how it would look with chrome. Not bad. I will not be chroming the whole thing. But I think where it is placed makes it a subtle enhancement.
I bought the steps from mtbiker and took a road trip to Pennsylvania. Pit stop in Philadelphia for a couple of cheesesteaks and I was happy. Any excuse to get a cheesesteak is a good excuse to me.

I think the chrome side steps look great! They complement your blacked out headlight covers. Sleek looking KK.

Took mine in to get the A/C checked because it's blowing hot air, and got the oil changed. The cooler condenser is damaged due to an impact (I gently bumped into a truck's trailer hitch...he should have been moving like he was when I looked the FIRST time!) So, long story short...it's a $670 repair. I didn't want to turn in an insurance claim but I may have to. Could get the tiny bit of body work fixed too, I suppose LOL
