It's auto. I say its anemic due to the drive by wire. The throttle response is just different and makes it feel sluggish.

After putting an exhaust and a few other tweaks it's better than stock

I would have loved to have found a standard, Digger seems to like his a lot.

It does feel anemic from the wire. Feels pretty good when merging on the interstate though, and feels like an animal in 4 low.

2008 Jeep Liberty KK W/Selec Trac II, ADL Skid Plate Group, 245/70/16 All Terrain Destinations, VisionX LED Floodlights. It's a real jeep. Don't like it? Wait let me check. Yep, still a real jeep.

I was not intending to flame. I was just stating the facts as I see them. I apparently hit the quote button on the wrong post last night.

Everyone has their fun with their vehicles as they see fit. If they want to put on stickers, plastidip, or other minor mods there is no need to mock them for their choices.

The KK offers the best of both worlds; we can wheel, and we can do more.

I can load up with hockey equipment and head up to Montreal for my son's hockey tournaments without a worry. I can take it camping in New Hampshire and get to places no one else can go. And, heaven forbid, I can go shopping at the mall. I'll add that I can really load it up when I go shopping.

So, yes, I do think I have the superior vehicle. No flame intended. Just the facts.

Oh MAN is it a beast in 4Lo! Love the sound it makes too. Did some more offroading recently and needed to crawl out of a gully (trail crossed it) Popped it into 4Lo and stomped on it. Thought I was driving a Monster truck for a second the way it sounded! And I popped up out of that gully so quick I got air!

Really impressed the Wrangler guy with the 4banger who was with me.

A KK is better than a KK?

...I think I'm just gonna smile and nod on this one.

I haven't got to wheel mine that hard yet. Just a lot of mud on the tractor roads where I hunt. It doesn't even blink at that. Even the hole in the back where the tractor keeps getting stuck doesn't slow it down in 4 low.

I did have an incident in a construction zone (1 lane where I had right of way) when a very smart person in a civic wanted to play chicken with me. I was already in 4auto (my KK has the select trac II option) because it was raining cats and dogs, so I took it in the ditch and came flying back out on the other side of the construction zone. The guy waiting in the pickup truck on the other side actually rolled down his widow and gawked, mouth ajar and all. It was pretty funny!

He made them. I think he is making or has made another front, $750 plus shipping. Not sure about the rear. There's more info at the LOST forum.
