Cut the tip off my JBA exhaust and welded the while exhaust. Got royal purple for the rear did and oil for the motor. Have a busy weekend ahead of me. Changing EVERY fluid

2010 KK, 2" Daystar lift, 245/75/16 BFG All-Terrains, interior LED's, front rear and cargo liner weather tech's, Pioneer AVH-p4400BT, GEX-P920XM, Kicker 6" in front 5 1/4" in rear, PB 2.75" in dash, Kicker 300.1 amp, Pioneer TS-SWX310, JK light bar with Hella 500 ff and 100w bulb, BOYO rear view camera, JBA exhaust, K&N drop in filter and more to come.

Got my tint done...20% in front and 5% eyebrow on the windshield. The back already had the privacy tint. Now I just have to make it pretty and take pics, not that it looks much different than another white arctic with tint lol

Finally got my JBA exhaust installed. Broke down and just paid the man to do it, and it was $60 well spent vs. the work involved.
Also got my new NRA decal put on the KK.

Wow! I wish I knew your "the man"!
But of course...with out pics... ;-)

I hope to get the JBA lift after I put some miles on the brand new stock equipment and justify replacing. I figure $100 for the instal will be worth it.

How do you like it. I just welded mine up and cut the tip off put on a turn down

It is a little louder than I had figured it would be. However at speed it is no louder than stock, you really only notice it at idle or under acceleration. I had the installer be extreemly careful removing the old exhaust system, just in case the day comes I wanted it put back on.

A couple of things I did notice that really caught me by surprise was that if I am sitting at an idle with the KK in park or N and rev the RPMs up it hangs up there for a while before dropping back to idle. Almost like there is no back pressure at all. I feel with time the CPU will reprogram itself and this will go away. The other issue I noticed was that on a trip that I make all the time and never shows any variation in MPG, the MPG has increased by a little over 1.5 MPG.

The quality of the system is great, the price was fantastic. I will keep the stainless exhaust tip as it looks pretty darn good and accents the stainless side rails very nice. Now if I were planning on doing any rough trails I would cut the tip off and tuck a turn down tip in it's place simply for ground clearance matters.

Has anyone else notice the free spooling issue or change in MPG? If so did the CPU finally reprogram and correct it, or is it simply a matter of there is that much of a free exhaust flow and no back pressure to trigger the computer.

Stock mine takes forever to settle back down from revving. You sure it never did that from day 1?

You know, I can't say that I ever rev'd it up before the JBA install, so you could well be correct...it's just the nature of the beast.

I had to run a quick trip this morning over a route I take very often. From the reading on the Scangauge it is still reading just under 2MPG higher than before the installation of the JBA. It still also feels like more grunt and quicker acceleration from a stop. I'd like to believe it is true, but is more likely only a "seat of the pants" feel.
