I don't think it'd be hard at all. Our fenders and bumpers are very simple in design. I know at least one or two members have done it and peeled it off right away. Obviously there are a few members here as well that have the whole Jeep dipped.

I love the look of the Renegade or the Nitros with the gray fenders, but at the same time I don't want it to look like I have primer bumpers. At the same time, it might look really cool with my theme.

Agreed. My KK is black so dipping mine will be not as effective. I have thought of yellow accents in areas but the fenders and bumpers I think will be too much.

Mine is black, and the matte black looks really good on the very shiny paint. My yellow shocks looks great, but not sure how yellow accents would be. You could always get a can of yellow plastidip for less than 10 bucks to try it out...

I dipped my fender flares black to see if I liked the look. I do, the deep water blue with black accents looks awesome. Sorry, I don't have any pics yet. There'll be some up soon after installing my geco basket.

Dang, Ted. Beat me to it. I've been having a lot of luck with this 3 dollar attachment for spray cans that has been making the world of a difference when using the dip. I'm sure this is not a new secret in the spray paint world.

I like the idea of the dip slightly protecting the paint. I think I'll do the front bumper first.

Installed my hood lift struts following diggerfreaks walkthrough. Actually super easy and very cool! Thanks digger! Forgot to take a pic so I'll get one up soon.

In addition to that I just got a new die hard platinum put in, and I have a 400 watt power inverter sitting in the garage. Just need to plan out a location and route for the wires and I'll be putting that in soon.

Looks like a rough day for that guy! Hope nobody was hurt, damage doesn't look too terrible.

I like the ideas with the plasti-dip, once I order some more I'm gonna do my grill red to match my tow hooks and the fenders gunmetal grey and maybe the bumper too. Should look good on my black KK.

Yeah it drove out of there fine. He tried to drive around the big puddle and ended up in it! Just some power steering fluid and a broken side mirror and dirty interior really.

ha, I'd be avoiding that too. Last time I hit mud I ripped my bumper off. I bet he wishes he just went through it after that.

I went wheeling with it on, scratched the **** out of my Jeep but not where it's dipped. Maybe the clear over the whole thing would be a good idea. They have a bunch if it in stock at summit racing here in akron, including clear.
