it came with ballast (spelling?) and bulbs. i had to fabricate my own harness but that was only a quick run to home depot. and yes they are very bright especially with the headlights where they are at on the KK, i get flashed multiple times each night, even in the day with just the fogs on. I ordered the 6K and they have treated me quite nice. My friend has had his bulbs for 2 years now and they have "broken in" as he says. They are not as bright as the new ones but still give a nice glow. But i would highly recommend them.

ill post some pictures once my bobafett is back from getting painted

Highly recommend them although you get flashed multiple times each day
So you don't care that others on the road with you get blinded by you running those lights ??

I noticed that too ... recommending that other Jeep owners burn the retinas in on coming traffic. Then I noticed they're from Birmingham Michigan. Recent surveys rated Detroit drivers as being among the most inconsiderate in the nation and Birmingham is considered "... an affluent suburb of Detroit..." If the highway patrol ever decides to enforce laws regarding intensity of headlights he'd be among those cited. I know that's not very likely ...

I don't understand why people don't feel the kk's lights are bright enough. I rarely ever turn on my hi beams and I live in the mountains in central New York. I even get flashed sometimes with my lows on.

I often get flashed at night when I have my stock lights with my fog lights - it's annoying so usually i just end up driving with my normal beams minus the fog. However, if they ever burn out I will replace them with Piaas LOL and just say screw it.

As far as worst drivers, I think NY and NJ are 1st and 2nd lol.

Yeah NY is pretty bad lol. I got flashed the other night in fog. My truck is stock too(besides the fact that you never use highs in fog...). So apparently to that guy in his lowered car, my normals = highs... couldn't be his lowered car or anything right?

So I went with the HID kit that came with the bulbs, relay harness, and connectors. The problem I'm having now is finding the connection that would turn my bulbs on or off. I searched last night for them and tried tracing the wiring from the lights to the fuse box and no luck. Is the connector in the black electrical tubing that runs in between the coolant/windshield washer fluid container and the radiator?

Did you put in HIDs or just upgraded bulbs?

I guess the HID's are ok, it's one thing to be able to see and a totally different thing to not allow others coming at you to see.
