Upgraded 2009 kk headlights to HID Litech

I upgraded my 2009 Liberty Limited headlights because i was having a hard time seeing at night, i seemed to be overdriving the lights and not because i am a speed demon....I had a performance shop in London install a Litech HID kit and it works very well....the only problem was the high beam light set up requires an anti-flicker module to function correctly in daytime setting or in automatic setting..i attached some pictures so you guys could have a look...

Are these conversions legal for street use? I also see that there are different manufactures with different "strenght bulbs", bluish white, white pink. How difficult was the installation?

Thanks for you help, I'm considering doing one and look forward to your input

they are not legal per se, but the chances of you getting pulled over and getting a ticket are slim to none. just make sure you adjust them so they would not blind the drivers since the oem housing was not mean for the hid bumb

Aye. I have the Silverstars on mine as well, and was told they don't make an Ultra bulb for it... Still a big improvement though.

The kit is pretty easy to install and just plugs into the existing harness...i needed to put a anti-flicker module into the highbeam power line of the litech harness so no cutting of the factory wires were required. As to whether the kit is legal...i am no lawyer but with proper aiming and the fact that they are 6000k lights (not the blue kiddie lights) people should have no problems....These are WAY better than the silverstars i've tried and other aftermarket crap i have spent money on...they look just the same as a lexus or bmw style of light.....no regrets...

Regardless of the K temp and proper aiming, from far away they still blind people because Projectors and Halogen cases disperse light differently
