Underdash LED install

I removed the under dash courtesy lights and swapped them with some LEDs. Here's a quick install write up.

First step is always to disconnect the battery.

Next I took off the cover to access the lights. Remove the two plastic flathead screws.

Next I unscrewed the courtesy light screw and snipped the wires.

Next I put butt connectors on the wires from the LEDs. Attach those butt connectors to the wires you snipped. Black is ground, yellow is positive.

Finally I replaced the cover and plastic screws and ran the wires behind it to hide them. The LEDs are stuck with 3m tape.

Pretty cool. Nice write up!
Does that much blue throw off your night vision when exiting the truck?

Nope, if anything it's helpful. It's a lot brighter than the stock yellow glow.

Not a problem, wanted to contribute to the forum. I figured I might as well take some pictures to help some other people out
