does anyone have this option? i have a kk sport and it has the buttons on the radio, but when i press it, it says option not available? kind of puzzles me that they would install the equipment and not give the option, or maybe i'm wrong? anybody know how that works?

Same here, you need the nav radio, I think, to have UConnect. Probably saves them a few $$ just to have the same faceplate on all the radios... or they intended to offer the feature but could not make it work. I think the owners manual explains the features.

I have it. It works pretty well. I feel awkward "talking" to my dash, but I guess that's the way of the future.

You have to buy the uconnect kit to add to your truck. I is a option from the factory. The factory unit has a mic. in the rear view mirror, the add on kit has a mic that you have to place. I don't think the add on kit uses the radio buttons, I maybe wrong. It is a great option, has easy access to your phone book, and pretty good voice recognition.
