turn signal problems?

Theres something wrong with my turn signal...

If I turn right with my turn signal on when my steering wheel turns back to center (which should turn the signal off) it causes my left signal to blink 3 times. It doesn't do it every time, just enough to be annoying when it does happen.

The Liberties have two modes for the turn signal. The "halfway point" turns the signal on for 3 clicks (left or right). Pulling the lever into the "lock" position keeps it on until the steering wheel turns it back. When the level is release to go back to the center position, the force is so great that it signals the opposite "halfway point". I have had this happen several times with my car too. I have just found ways around it and accepted it. Hope that helps.
