Trip Functions - Avg. Fuel Economy

First Jeep 2010 Liberty. traded in a Chrysler that allowed you to reset the calculated miles per gallon reading to zero when you filled up the gas tank or whenever you wanted. Can't seem to figure out how to do that with this baby. Can it be reset to zero and how?

concrats on your liberty. if you have EVIC and i assume that you do then yes, you can reset you average fuel economy to 0 any time you want. just use the buttons on the steering wheel.

I don't know about the EVIC but on you should be able to just navigate until you see the average mpg and press and hold the button that is used to switch through the menu and it should reset.

I found it

Thanks. I discovered the difference on the owners info CD. The Chrysler resets to zero, The Jeep resets to the last average as a starting point.
