Traded in a 2004 GTO 6 speed the other day for a 2010 Jeep Liberty Limited with 17k Miles. (Selec trac II)(Cobalt ss before gto)I loved the gto but living in michigan i needed a more all around car. I love everything about the Jeep. Its Great! I have a few plans for her, maybe a mild lift and maybe some wheels and 31" tires. What are the top lift kits around 2-3"? Thanks!
Yep you don't want that lift
Go OME and be done
check out jeepinbyal for lifts from 750 on up
PLUS it really does help to read through the posts on here and LOSTJEEPS, then you'll learn what others have done and the best bang for your buck
Just about everyone runs the HD 927 front springs and MD 731s rear. Buy the whole kit with front shocks and the n132L rear shocks.
You'll need the teraflex extended front bumpstops and jba rear bumpstops or use hockey pucks.
Listen to Tom, he is the lift reverend. Anyways, if you use AtTheHelm's list, you can do a clevis lift and get the jba 1/4" strut spacer plate and get 3-3.5" of lift. Then for tires, most go with 245/75r16. It's pretty much the biggest you can go without rub and needing to regear.

You don't have to use them if only going with the full spring lift, if adding the top plate and the clevis then yes its a good idea to go ahead and get the UCAs. It makes it easier to align and its a great upgrade.
Sounds like a plan! Im ordering it today off jeepinbyal.com and got the 2972 front with the 2731 rear with 132L shocks!
Will post update pics! Now for wheels and tires!! fun stuff
Whats wrong with the aggressive stance look? It looks more like a jeep that mine does right now. Who wants 235 18" on a jeep? Although that crad chrome looks nice lol
so does 245 75 16 on Crager wheels with the ome lift sounds like a good plan?? "not a bad way to spend 2k"
or go 31" on 15"..
