Yeah ours doesn't have the skid group on it and it does have a brush guard I guess you'd call it over the tank. Its a 2012 Arctic. From what I can gather it looks really close to the actually skid plate but not as heavy of steal and more drain holes in it. And I do know it is what holds the tank on and has to be removed to install the skid plate which goes back in its place. Which requires you to drop the tank. That's why I wasn't sure if I would need it or not for the light off roading that ours will see. Just not sure how that stock guard will hold up if it does take a hit.? Definitely putting all the other ones on though so may go for it. Decisions. Decisions

That's the only negative thing about Jeep ownership. Your wallet ends up with cobwebs instead of cash

Thanks for the info, when I pick up the skids I will order the tank skid as well, sounds like it might be better for dealer to install that one for me. Next is sliders, new tires, and OME or JBA 2.5" lift. Dang, I got the Jeep modify bug all over again
