I had the same issue with the TCS. It would intemittently ding and the light would illuminate and remain on while driving. Or would come on when the vehicle was started. Sometimes my cruise would not engage, or it would disengage if I had it engaged.
After a engine off/restart the light would almost always illuminate and disappear like it should. I was going to bring it in at my next oil change interval except one day I had the TCS, ESP, ABS, and the check engine light come on. I took it in the next day and they said that it was a sensor that monitors my braking. They told me that as far as the Jeep was concerned, I didn't have any brakes, so it could not use any of the systems.
Apparently this was the intermittent cause for my cruise not working, and apparently I didn't have any brake lights either because it didn't know I was braking. The part and labour cost me about $170CDN

I also had an issue, about 30,000km's earlier where the "serv4wd" light would come on for me intermittently and I took the vehicle to the dealer numerous times. Whenever they would go out the light wouldn't come on for them and they said there was no codes stored.
Finally one day it happened while I was driving by so I dropped in and left the engine running. They wound up replacing a sensor in the transfer case. The system was apparently engaging and disengaging normally even when it was saying there was a fault, and you could hear it working, but something weird was happening and it thought something was wrong.

Traction control

I have an "11 Libby with the same stupid light and chime for traction control. I first noticed it in winter and found a large icy area in a parking lot. Even though the light was on, the traction control was working, in fact when I shut if off, it was still working. I am tempted to simply pull the fuse for the system and have it off permanently. I did change the diff oil and the light stayed off for a week, but then came back on again. When I shut off the ignition, it will reset itself and maybe stay off for days. I am not going to try to remedy this situation as there are no drivability problems and perhaps the bulb will eventually burn out....we can only hope.

I don't believe any one has posted about resetting the ecu.

to do so pull the battery over night. that's the first troubleshooting step to do. if the light is still on, go to an alignment shop. most do a free evaluation, and if not they'll charge a small fee. if alignment is on par or close to it, find a reputable dealership or mechanic to diagnose the issue.

though id be shocked if the issue was present after the battery is pulled.

A locker won't eff up the traction control because when locked the traction control won't have a chance to turn on.... there's no slip to trigger it.

I am not having difficulties, simply annoyances with the light and chime, as the vehicle does not display any drivability problems. I believe at this time, it is a glitch in the system and I am not concerned over it. If it develops drivability problems in the future, then I will be concerned. Until then, all is good, after all, I grew up driving rear wheel drive vehicles with no sensors or warning lights whatsoever and we got along just fine.......I do long for those days as there was less to go wrong, even though nothing was actually wrong.
