Tom I know there is plenty info in here but want to ask here so it's in one place.

Right now I have the rock father 3.5 lift on 2008 liberty with 245/75/16. I want a better and higher lift where I can stretch. I see the ome and tommud econo lift on the site. When going to order it asks what size clevis I want. Which do I need? I want the highest possible lift that can stretch but also not hurt the rest of the steering and such.

I'm petty sure you want 3/8, which will give you 3/4 lift. I think that's the most you can get.

Thanks. We were looking at getting a jeep rubicon around a 2005-2007 model but my wife said why don't you be different and customize this one. Gotta love her

Nice. Then why not just go for the 2.5 JBA Silver? That'll give you 2.5 over new stock in the back and 3" over new stock in the front with a level stance.

I think 21.5" from center of hub to bottom of front fenders is all you want without eating up CVs. Pretty sure the 2.5 & 4" JBA lifts are the same up front adjust-a-struts. The 4"JBA would give you the most in the back and if you keep a forward rake you'd be safe up front.

Thanks. Looking at the 4" jba platinum. How is the ride with this kit? No problems? Daily driver with plenty miles being traveled from Florida to Texas.

I've got the 2.5 silver, put it on about 1000 miles ago, after only about 8k on new stock. It rides sooooo much nicer. I can only assume the 4" would be similar. Mines a daily driver and beach creeper. I don't think you need the platinum unless you are concerned about shock fatigue during long hard off roading.

I've got the JBA 4 inch lift (from before the silver, gold, platinum thing) on my daily driver and love it. It has A arms, adjust a struts, the Bilsteins without the remote reservoirs, and the rear track bar. Rides great. It's been on for 2000 miles now, and the handling is much improved compared to the last 60,000 miles!

Thanks fellas. I was looking hard at a rubi for play but really like my liberty. It's amazing how capable they really are. If its set up right and you know how to use it its a great machine. Just imagine what a hemi swap would do!!

JBA 4", 4.10 gears, and lockers, I'd be satisfied...and dreaming of a Hemi! ;-)

Yes indeed. Love the ride of the liberty for sure. Makes those long trips enjoyable. Kids just want a jeep without a top bad! We are still considering getting one for weekend rides and such.

Yeah, I'd love to have a topless doorless Wrangler for the beach. Wouldn't want to drive it from TX to FL more than once, or ever really.

And back to the clevis, no clevis lift if you use a JBA adjust-a-strut. I found that out from Tom during my lift questions.
