Tire question.....

Ok, after banging my head around, I think I have settled on getting the Dunlop Fierce Attittude MT once I get the lift. (Unless somebody want to twist my arm).

Now my question is this. I know that Goodyear/Dunlop/Kelly are all the same company owned by Goodyear. While I search for the Fierce tires, I have found them listed as Dunlops at Mavis Tire, As Kelly on the Goodyear website when I search for local installers.and when I went in person to a local Goodyear dear, they actually had them as a Goodyear tire. So I am now confused. Does each brand actually make a Fierce tire and if so is one better than the other, or is it just the inability to decide which brand is going to carry this tire.

My main reason, The Goodyear website offers them for about $140 a tire ($699 installed with road hazard protection. Mavis, which is right around the block from my house, sells the tire for about $196 a tire ($900 installed-no protection plan). However, Mavis does have a price match guarantee. Before I walk into the place and sound like an idiot being that they sell it as a Dunlop and Goodyear sells it as a Kelly (would rather look like on on here) what are the differences if any?

Fierce is more or less its own brand now from the looks of it, they just are selling it at different tire outlets under various names
From what I have looked at them they are a decent tire and if they wear half as good as the Duratracs they'll be a good choice.
I've been looking at them for my next ones just to try them out and test them

That's what I figured. So if I go into Mavis Tire looking to get their Dunlop Fierce with a quite from a Goodyear Service center who is selling Kelly Fierce for $60 less I should have a strong leg to stand on.

If they all (Fierce, Dunlop, Goodyear, blah blah blah) have the same ratings, then go with the most cost effective.

Those Toyo's are good tires. If you wheel it though you will have to airdown to 10psi or less as there sidewalls are insanely thick.

I know, I love those tires. But I don't do enough with the truck to justify the cost.

I'm sure it would be different if I had a child but since I don't have any dependents and my Jeep is my baby, it didn't leave for much decision making.
