Steel rims on '12 KK?

Just curious if its okay to put steel rims on a '12 kk with tpms crap and all that. Was looking at some 15's and some either 235's or 29.5's... any thoughts?

I have black steel 16' wheel for my winter tires. I have not installed tpms sensors so it blinks all the time. No other issue so far.

I'm getting used having 3 orange lights up all the time (od+esp off)

Rockrawler has a set. Be careful of the lower ball joint bolt, that's what keeps 15" rims from fitting.

Anyone have Cragar soft 8s? I'm looking to get a set in a month or so.

It's a pretty common rim among Libertys. I don't think you'd have any problems with them if you're curious.

I don't expect to have issues but I don't think too many KK owners have em. I've seen a few KJs

If you stay with 16s far less issues
and if you're lifted then OK if not its going to be hard to find one that will work and not sit the tire/wheel out too far and have rubbing issues
Stock height you need to stay very close to stock wheel specs

I'm going with 16x7 with my 245-70-16s. The guy at DT said it shouldn't be too noticeable as far as the tire sticking out.

Long as you stay with 5 inches or so of backspacing you will be fine, 4 inches will rub if unlifted
