Spotted "Rubicon" Green KK on South Main Street New Jersey

Had "Rubicon" on the hood, blacked out headlights, JK light bar, extra lights, lifted, bigger tires, aftermarket rims. Anyone know if this is a JeepForum member? It has to be! Well anyways, I waved to ya and even threw ya a thumbs up, but ya had no reaction... Nice Jeep.

The time was between 2:30 and 3:00 P.M. today.

Opinions: Is the KJ light bar worth it? I have no experience with it. Does it throw enough light?

I really wanna find out more about this Liberty. Definitely sitting an inch higher than mine. Very curious which lift he was running. I've been searching and can't find any members with these specific mods in the New Jersey area.

I respected the "Rubicon" decals since it had all the goodies. Hopefully he got to listen to my lovely exhaust tone when he was behind me.

Another reason it has to be a member here is because I can't think of an average Joe that would know the JK light bar mod without being on the forums.

I'm talking about a JK light bar, as in a Wrangler. He had a Wrangler (JK) light bar mounted on his front bumper.

Didn't you just do straight up springs and shocks? The owner might have used spacer plates and a clevis lift to add extra height.

MtBJet, it depends which you're talking about. The KJ is the 02-07 Liberty, the JK is the 07-current Wrangler. Now the KJ light bar is the roof lights that came on the Renegade Libertys. The JK light bar that Gageraid is talking about is retrofitting a JK hood light bar to the front bumper of the KK(08-12 Libertys)

In that case, it's lame to have Rubicon on there. The KJ Liberty Rubicon had a rooftop light bar. That's what I thought you were referring to.

Renegade! Thank you. That's what I was referring to.

Correct, springs and shocks and NOTHING else. Seems like barely anyone goes this route and adds extra plates and what not. It was his tires that made it look bigger, but I want to know more! Pretty rare find to see another KK lifted and driving next to you...

That would have been bad booty if he had the KJ rooftop light bar. Someone has one installed floating somewhere on the internet. I know a few months ago someone took some pictures with one to see how it would look.

I was a little bummed I didn't get any recognition besides a turn of the head, but I understand people have bad days and the fact we were on a pretty busy road. Just wanted to show him some respect.

I've actually been brainstorming for a while now to put some type of military font letters and numbers on the hood, but not sold how it looks yet on a KK. Bunch of JK owners have done it and it looks pretty cool to me.
