Some small stupid problems with liberty

Ill make this short

Our liberty has 72K miles on it

This past year or so it seems like its losing coolant.
However it doesnt leak, there is none in the oil, and the exhaust has no smell or even a look.
I would say every 3-4 months its low about 16oz...

Lastly the battery positive cable keeps building up flux constantly... is there anyway to stop this?

On a side note, does anyone notice how dusty it gets under the hood ?

It's gotta be leaking it or burning it. Try pressure testing the system and cap. Check the coolant reservoir and make sure there is no cracks in it anywhere. If still no joy, run a compression test. As for the battery, clean it and coat it with dielectric grease. And wash under the hood. Dust never sleeps.

Gonna sound weird but I heard that if you glue a penny to the battery you don't get the corrosion that's common. Don't know how true that is though... Also I'm assuming that that's what you mean by "flux".

Sorry but I can't help on your other problem.

There was a recall on the water pumps for some. Have the dealer check it out for you or go to justforjeeps.com. You should find info there.

Water pump is covered under the lifetime warranty if you are the original owner.

Gotta have the system pressure tested.

As far as the battery corrosion get a AGM battery and never worry about it again.
