sky slider won't open

so long story short my sky slider in my 09 liberty won't open, it doesn't try to open, any ideas, could it be the motor or something like that?

Check which fuse controls the sky slider. I think they are listed in the back of your owners manual. If it's just a blown fuse, it is a quick fix.

Were you doing something to it that may have caused this?

Fix it? I have a sky slider so I'd like to know how to fix them if it ever happens.

Something like this happened to me awhile back, I was going 30-40 tried closing, it started and then stopped and the button was unresponsive. Pulled off and it started working again once I stopped. Haven't had a problem since.

Well, I hate to be 'that guy' but mine had a similar failure. I had to have it replaced.

But, the rear cargo dome light can be removed and with an allen wrench you can manually turn the motors.
