Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Some pics from this weekends adventure. Girlfriend has another good one on her phone I'll try to get. HUGE shout out to Morgan (Atthehelm) on the front recovery system. He hooked me up with a tab to mount the flag that worked perfect. Thanks again man

Glad to see that flag mount being put to use! I still think its weird they make you put it on the front.

You would understand if you were there. There isn't much direction and there are some pretty steep dunes where you don't know what is coming up the other side. For that reason, the flag being in the front is preferable. On bikes and small ATVs the flag goes on the back so it doesn't whip the driver in the face.

Also, the Liberty did amazing and never got stuck once. Aired down to 15 PSI and made it up everything I drove it on. There were even a couple Wranglers that got stuck on hills that I made it up and over.

It was really nice having the air compressor so I didn't have to wait in the huge line for air when we left. Although every time I go up to Silver it makes me want more lift seeing all the amazing rigs there. I suppose my next vehicle is going to have to be a JK with the new 3.6 so I can empty my pockets even more

That's my next vehicle too. Only difference is I want to put a hemi in it lol. Pretty sad that me and my friend are planning our future JKU builds huh? He's too quick to give up his XJ

Thinkin about it, I saw your post about it earlier. I'll ask the little lady and see if she wants to go. It's been too long since I've been off the pavement

My girlfriend has a doctors apt. on the 24th that she has to go under for (nothing big) but I'm not sure how she'll be feeling that weekend. Do you have to preregister or can I just show up Friday night? I don't want to register and pay before I know how she's feeling.

Also, are you from the West Michigan area?

Looks like fun, I may get up there some day....................I hope:thumbsup:
