Side Step on a 2010 Liberty

I'm needing to get a side step for the Liberty and I was wondering if any one had them and which brand you had. I can get an OEM Chrome for $270 and the Black for $209. Are they worth the price (OEM), or are there others that are just as good for less?

i went with the molded "factory install" look for our '10 KK. i needed functionality for my 92-yr old mother-in-law but i like the way they look as well and would've chosen them regardless. the link is to the Custom Molded Running Boards Jeep Liberty 2008-2009 RunningBoardWarehouse.COM. these are the running boards i bought but i got them locally for a bit less.

rk911-

How hard were they to install? Is there any drilling required? Did you buy the painted version? If so how was the paint match? Thanks.

didn't do the work myself...my buddy at his body shop did the install. he said they weren't too bad. they fit well and the brackets had pre-drilled holes where the running board met the frame of the jeep but there were no pre-drilled holes where the bracket met the running board.

i bought the standard black boards cuz the lower portion of the door panels are black and the blacks match very, very well.
