99 percent of the time I back up into my car port for hypermiling reasons and ease of getting out of my driveway, but that one percent of the time I pull in, I always seem to park at the exact spot of where the antennae hits my carport. It's very flexible. I used the radio like 10 times since owning it, so maybe one day I'll get the short one.
I've taken it off before to see how it looks, but it didn't look right.

what i did was cut the thin section from the top and put a vacuum cap from ace hardware on and it looks perfect
